This is a leisure land attaching an amusement park and a gourmet zone, as well as a safari park with 1,000 animals of about 120 species. Drive-Thru Safari, driving among wild animals, has started a new “SAFARI THE RIDE” (extra charge). This is a cage-shaped bus to let you get closer to animals and feel their breathing. It is better to reserve a seat in advance because all seats are specified. Walking Safari is another popular attraction, which you can pet small animals while walking around.

There is a 6 km safari road where you can look at animals’ gestures and faces closely in their own natural environments. How about riding an animal-shaped bus "jungle bus" (Adults 1,100yen) there? You can feed them directly through the fence and observe ecology of animals. There is also “Deai no mura” where you can enjoy petting animals such as miniature horses, kangaroos, and squirrel monkeys. Famous hot springs such as Yufuin and Beppu are also near by. So if you have time, enjoy both African safari and hot springs at once!
