Craft beers are now raising a big boom in Japan. They are mostly created at micro and quality-first breweries, and there are various kinds of beers with standard and unique flavors. Today, we introduce breweries accompanied with restaurants in Tokyo, other areas of Kanto and Tohoku regions.

“Spring Valley Brewery” is located in Daikanyama, a cutting edge fashion town, and opens even at 8 o’clock in the morning. There are transparent glass brewery machines introduced first in Japan, and high-spec servers for customized beer. You can enjoy not only drinking but also watching.
You can try 6 different standard beers on “BEER FLIGHT.” 6 kinds, 120ml of each for 1,000 yen.

Drink Craft Beer represents Tohoku! “Sennan Shinken Factory” (Miyagi)
Sennan Craft Beer won the gold prize at the keg division of “International Beer Cup 2015.” It is brewed with melt water from the foot of Mt. Zao, and constantly four to six kinds of craft beers are brewed there. “Kodai Ale (right on photo)” brewed with black ancient rice grown locally in Kakuda is so unique and difficult to brew that only two breweries are able to make it in Japan.
There are other facilities besides the brewery: a ham and sausage workshop, a cooking studio and a restaurant where you can enjoy German dishes with a plenty of local food.

Craft beer pioneer finally opened its beer bar! “Hitachino Brewing Lab. Tokyo Station” (Tokyo)
Kiuchi Brewery, long-established sake brewery in Ibaraki, has opened a beer bar called “Hitachino Brewing Lab. Tokyo Station” as their second branch in Tokyo on December 1, 2016.

They also have a branch in Kanda, which has a genuine brewing machine besides in Ibaraki. There are about 10 different kinds of Hitachino Nest Beer, and about 20 kinds of unique food menu such as “Hitachino mackerel sandwich (600yen)” and “BIN’S FOOD (380〜780 yen),” which contains food in sake cups.
